Island Desi is something I've been dreaming of creating for a long time.

Coming from a fashion and luxury e-commerce background, I've always loved styling, jewellery, and the little details that make an outfit feel complete. Being Mauritian and growing up around different cultures also shaped my love for Desi jewellery, beach-inspired pieces, colour, and mixing tradition with everyday style.

I created Island Desi for the girls who want to wear jhumkas with jeans, statement earrings on holiday, or go all out for weddings and mehndi, without feeling like jewellery has to be saved for a special occasion.

More than anything, I want this to grow into a community of like-minded girls who love style, culture, and expressing themselves in their own way.
